How Should It Be Applied?

Ten Essential Safety Precautions
1. Store chemicals in their original containers, tightly closed, and in a designated area away from children.
2. Read the product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Follow all hazard symbols, safety instructions, and precautionary statements.
3. Never mix chemicals. Acidic and alkaline products neutralize each other, while mixing acidic and chlorine-based products may release hazardous gases.
4. When diluting concentrated products, always add the chemical to water—never water to the chemical.
5. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, safety goggles, and masks.
6. Label diluted solutions with the product name and preparation date. Use diluted disinfectant solutions within 24 hours of preparation.
7. In the event of a spill, clean the area immediately with plenty of water. Liquid spills should first be absorbed using an appropriate absorbent material before rinsing with water.
8. Ensure adequate ventilation after use.
9. Wash your hands thoroughly after cleaning and apply a moisturizer to help protect your skin.
10. If the product comes into contact with the skin, eyes, or clothing, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If irritation persists or the product has been swallowed, seek medical attention immediately and provide the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to the healthcare professional.
